A program under Children's Medical Services which provides developmental screenings and services to children under the age of three who have a developmental delay or health care needs.

Excellent resource for families with children who have disabilities or special health care needs.

Florida KidCare
Florida KidCare is the state's children's health insurance program for uninsured children under age 19. It includes four different parts, or programs: MediKids, Healthy Kids, Children's Medical Services and Medicaid. When you apply for the insurance, Florida KidCare will check which program your child may be eligible for based on age and family income.

Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard County, Inc.
The Healthy Start Coalition provides services to pregnant women and infants to ensure that any risk factors that may contribute to normal growth and development are identified early and addressed.

Home instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY)  The HIPPY program is a home based early childhood education program for parents of 3 & 4 year old children.

Local residents may dial 211 for free information and referrals to access health, social and human services within Brevard County.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)
Information on the statewide VPK initiative. Parents may sign up for VPK on-line.
 
WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care and community services.
