School Readiness Program Assessment (SRPA)

School Readiness Program Assessment – Effective July 1, 2018
HB 1091 was passed by the Florida Legislature during the 2018 legislative session.  HB 1091 is a bill that increases quality and accountability in the School Readiness Program.  Providers who serve School Readiness children will be required to register for a School Readiness Program Assessment (SRPA) prior to contracting.  If eligible, exemptions will be determined by the Coalition following the Exemption Guidelines.
Program Assessment – CLassroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) 
The CLASS observation tool is an observational instrument developed to measure the quality of teacher-child interactions, including emotional and behavioral support, engaged support for learning, classroom organization and instructional support for children ages birth to 5.  If you would like more information about CLASS click here or visit
