Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program – A free educational program that prepares age-eligible children for success in kindergarten and beyond. To be eligible, children must live in Florida and be 4-years-old on or before September 1 of the program year. Parents whose children are born from February 2 through September 1 of a calendar year may choose to enroll their child in VPK either that year or the year their child turns five (5).
