Need Help With the Cost of Child Care?

School Readiness child care funding is available to eligible families to assist them in obtaining affordable, high quality child care.

If you meet the eligibility criteria below, you may qualify for child care funding either by applying to the wait list or through a referring agency. You may apply to the wait list at birth of your child; typically children are eligible for services from 6 weeks through kindergarten eligibility.
  • Children living in a low-income family where parents/guardians are currently employed working a minimum of 20 hours per week; attending school 20 hours (12 credit hours) per week or a combination of both.
  • Children under Protective Services or in foster care - regardless of income.
  • Parents or guardians that receive cash assistance for the family or for the relative children.
